The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will soon announce the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 results. The announcement will be made today, May 6th at 11am. Once the council declares the results, students can view and download the results on the official CISCE website, cisce.org.
ICSE ISC Class 10, 12 Results 2024 LIVE
The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Board Examination for Class 10 was conducted for a month starting on February 21st. The trial ended on March 28, 2024. Conversely, ISC class 12 exams were conducted from February 12th, 2024, to April 3rd, 2024, at different exam centres.
ICSE, ISC Results 2024: Passing Marks
As per the passing criteria, students appearing for ICSE class 10 board exams need to score at least 33% marks in each subject and overall to pass the exam. This means that students need to get a D grade to pass the exam. Anyone scoring lower than this is considered a fail and has to repeat the year.
Board exams have been cancelled by CISCE this year. The Board has also initiated the process of re-evaluating answer scripts in line with NEP 2020. Re-evaluation of results by ICSE and ISC has been suggested in addition to re-verification of answer scripts after the announcement of results. From the 2024 examination year on, students will be allowed to appear for CISCE Improvement Exams in a maximum of two subjects.
Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,500 per subject for re-evaluation. Please note that the fee paid for the re-evaluation of answer scripts will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should also note that the ICSE and ISC revaluation results will be announced on the official website, cisce.org, within three weeks. The Board also noted that the re-evaluation of the answer scripts will be carried out by qualified personnel appointed by the Managing Director and Director-General of CISCE.
