After the huge turnout in Andhra Pradesh, the ruling party YSR Congress and opposition party TDP-JSP-BJP claimed that the situation marked their victory. While the YSR Congress is still confident of retaining power, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) claims to have over 80 percent voter turnout, reflecting the will of the people to change. TDP leaders interpreted the voters’ enthusiasm as their anger at the YSR Congress’s “destructive” law and their desire to return the TDP to power.

TDP president and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu believes that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will undoubtedly win power in the state. He said that though the YSRCP resorted to violence in many places to intimidate the voters, the vote was enough to bring the TDP and the NDA to power. The TDP leader said the YSRCP’s “mismanagement” had angered many people as 6 million voters living in other districts came to the state to vote for the NDA. .

The TDP camp is confident of winning 130 to 140 seats in the 175-member DPR. The party is expected to win 23 of the 25 seats in the Lok Sabha. In 2019, YSRCP came to power with a majority of 151 seats. It also won 22 seats. The Liberal Democrats, who ran alone, won only 23 parliamentary seats and three seats in the House of Commons. Actor Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party (JSP), which is affiliated with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Left, is likely to win the parliamentary seat. The BJP won nothing. Meanwhile three parties have come together to challenge the YSRCP. The TDP is contesting 144 Assembly seats and 17 Lok Sabha seats. The JSP is fielding candidates in 21 assembly seats and two Lok Sabha constituencies, while the BJP is contesting in 10 assembly seats and six Lok Sabha constituencies.

JSP also believes it can win 18 parliamentary seats. According to its leaders, there is a threat in three other constituencies. Pawan Kalyan lost the two assembly seats he contested in 2019 but is confident of winning in Pithapuram. JSP Political Affairs Committee Chairman N. Manohar is confident of Tenali’s victory. The JSP leaders said that strong opposition forces in the seats will help the third alliance to achieve success. The BJP camp is confident of winning four Lok Sabha seats. The saffron group said fighting had intensified in the other two areas. Former union minister and BJP president D. Purandeswari will win the Rajahmundry Lok Sabha seat, BJP leaders said. The BJP is confident of improving on its performance in 2014, when it won four assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats. Then join the Democratic Lib Party to go to the polls. JSP provides support to the team. The YSR Congress, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, is confident of retaining power.

They believe that the welfare programs implemented in the last five years and the “problem of credibility” of Chandrababu Naidu will also help them build the government. YSRCP leaders said that the party may lose its majority but will easily form the government by winning 110-120 seats. They said that the electoral situation in more than 100 constituencies favors the party. YSRCP General Secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said: “In the 2019 general election the TDP has lost ground, but this time people voted for the YSR Congress government because they were satisfied with his actions and hope that they will remain in power. YSRCP leaders said that beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes voted for the party. Voters will decide the political fate of 2,841 candidates in Monday’s election. 2,387 candidates are contesting for 175 Lok Sabha seats, 454 candidates are contesting for 25 Lok Sabha seats.
