Following rumours of phone tapping, as political leaders, bureaucrats, judiciary and others began avoiding direct phone calls and turning to encrypted messaging services like WhatsApp, Snapchat and Signal, Prabhakar Rao and his group were allegedly tracking communications made over internet calls.
