My Fellow Indians
The biggest jubilee of the republic, the 2024 Lok Sabha choices, is a concluding moment in our nation, the Mother of Democracy. After a three-day spiritual trip in Kanyakumari, I’ve just boarded the aeroplane for Delhi.
My mind is filled with so many thoughts and feelings. I feel a bottomless inflow of energy within myself. The 2024 Lok Sabha choices are the first in the Amrit Kaal. I began my crusade many months ago in Meerut, the land of the First War of Independence of 1857. Since then, I’ve covered the length and breadth of our great nation. The final rally of these choices took me to Hoshiarpur in Punjab, the land of the great Gurus and a land associated with Sant Ravidas Ji. After that, I came to Kanyakumari, at the base of Maa Bharti.
It’s natural that the fervour of the choices is echoing in my heart and mind. The multitude of faces seen at rallies and road shows came in front of my eyes. The blessings from our Nari Shakti. the trust, the affection—all of this was a veritably humbling experience. My eyes were getting wet. I entered into a’ sadhana’ (ppensive state). And also, the heated political debates, the attacks and counter-attacks, and the voices and words of allegations that are so characteristic of an election. They all dissolved into a void. A sense of detachment came to grow within me. My mind became fully detached from the external world.
Contemplation becomes grueling amidst similar huge liabilities, but the land of Kanyakumari and the alleviation of Swami Vivekananda make it royal. As a seeker myself, I left my crusade in the hands of my cherished people of Kashi and came then.
I’m also thankful to God for breeding in me these values from birth, which I’ve cherished and tried to live up to. I was also allowing about what Swami Vivekananda must have endured during his contemplation at this veritable place in Kanyakumari! A part of my contemplation was spent in a analogous sluice of studies.
Amidst this detachment, amidst the peace and silence, my mind was constantly allowing about the bright future of Bharat, the pretensions of Bharat. The rising sun at Kanyakumari gave new heights to my studies, the hugeness of the ocean expanded my ideas, and the breadth of the horizon continuously made me realise the concinnity, the Oneness, bedded in the depths of the macrocosm. It sounded as if the compliances and gests accepted in the stage of the Himalayas decades ago were being revived.
Kanyakumari has always been veritably near my heart. The Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari was erected under the leadership of Shri Eknath Ranade ji. I had the occasion to travel considerably with Eknath ji. During the construction of this keepsake, I had the occasion to spend some time in Kanyakumari as well.
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari. this is a common identity that’s deeply hardwired in the hearts of every citizen of the country. This is the’ Shakti Peeth’ (sseat of Shakti), where Maa Shakti expressed himself as Kanya Kumari. At this southern tip, Maa Shakti performed penance and awaited for Bhagwan Shiva, who was abiding in the Himalayas at the northernmost corridor of Bharat.
Kanyakumari is the land of convergences. The sacred gutters of our country flow into different swells, and then, those very swells meet. And then, we witness another great convergence the ideological convergence of Bharat! Then, we find the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a grand statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar, Gandhi Mandapam, and Kamarajar Mani Mandapam. These aqueducts of study from these stalwarts meet to form a convergence of public study. This gives rise to great alleviation for nation-structure. This land of Kanyakumari gives an unforgettable communication of concinnity, especially to any person who doubts Bharat’s nationhood and the sense of concinnity.
The grand statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar in Kanyakumari seems to be looking at the breadth of Maa Bharti from the ocean. His work, Thirukkural, is one of the crown jewels of the beautiful Tamil language. It covers every aspect of life, inspiring us tober stylish for ourselves and for the nation. It was my great fortune to pay my congratulations to such a great figure.
Swami Vivekananda formerly said,” Every nation has a communication to deliver, a charge to fulfil, a fortune to reach.”
For thousands of years, Bharat has been moving forward with this sense of meaningful purpose. Bharat has been a cradle of ideas for thousands of years. We’ve noway considered what we’ve acquired as our particular wealth or measured it purely by profitable or material parameters. Thus,’ Idam na-ma’ (tthis isn’t mine) has become an essential and natural part of the character of Bharat.
Bharat’s wealth benefits our earth’s progress as well. Take the freedom movement as an illustration. Bharat gained independence on Aug 15, 1947. At that time, numerous countries around the world were under social rule. Bharat’s independence trip inspired and empowered numerous of those countries to achieve their own freedom. That same spirit was seen decades latterly when the world came face to face with the formerly-by-a-century COVID-19epidemic. When enterprises were raised about the poor and developing countries, Bharat’s successful sweats handed courage and backing to numerous nations.
moment, Bharat’s governance model has come an illustration for numerous countries around the world. Empowering 25 crore people to rise above poverty in just 10 times is unknown. Innovative practices similar asPro-People Good Governance, aspirational sections, and aspirational blocks are being bandied encyclopedically moment. Our sweats, from empowering the poor to last- afar delivery, have inspired the world by prioritising individualities standing at the last pealed of society. Bharat’s Digital India crusade is now an illustration for the entire world, showing how we can use technology to empower the poor, bring translucency, and insure their rights. Affordable data in Bharat is getting a means of social equivalency by icing the reach of information and services to the poor. The whole world is witnessing and studying the democratisation of technology, and major global institutions are advising numerous countries to borrow rudiments from our model.
moment, Bharat’s progress and rise aren’t just a significant occasion for Bharat alone, but also a major occasion for all our mate countries around the world. Since the success of the G20, the world has been decreasingly visioning a bigger part for Bharat. moment, Bharat is being conceded as a strong and important voice of the Global South. The African Union has come a part of the G20 group at the action of Bharat. This is going to be a pivotal turning point for the future of African countries.
The development line of Bharat fills us with pride and glory, but at the same time, it also reminds the 140 crore citizens of their liabilities. Now, without wasting a single moment, we must step forward towards lesser duties and larger pretensions. We need to conjure new dreams, convert them into reality and begin living those dreams.
We must see Bharat’s development in a global environment, and for this, it’s essential that we understand Bharat’s internal capabilities. We must admit Bharat’s strengths, nurture them, and use them for the benefit of the world. In today’s global script, Bharat’s strength as a immature nation is an occasion from which we mustn’t look back.
The world of the 21st century is looking towards Bharat with numerous expedients. And we will need to make several changes to move forward with the global script. We also need to change our traditional thinking regarding reform. Bharat can not limit reform to just profitable reforms. We must move forward in every aspect of life towards the direction of reform. Our reforms should also align with the goals of a’ Viksit Bharat'( developed India) by 2047.
We must also understand that reform can never be a one-dimensional process for any country. Thus, I’ve laid out the vision of reform, performance, and transformation for the country. The responsibility of reform lies with leadership. Grounded on that, our bureaucracy performs, and when the people join in with the spirit of Jan Bhagidari, we witness a metamorphosis taking place.
We must make excellence the abecedarian principle to make our country a’ Viksit Bharat’. We need to work snappily in all four directions: speed, scale, scope, and norms. Alongside manufacturing, we must also concentrate on quality and adhere to the mantra of’ zero disfigurement, zero effect’.
We should take pride in every moment that God has blessed us with birth in the land of Bharat. God has chosen us to serve Bharat and fulfil our part in our country’s trip towards excellence.
We must review our heritage in a ultramodern way while embracing ancient values in an ultramodern environment.
As a nation, we also need to reassess outdated thinking and beliefs. We need to free our society from the pressure of professional pessimists. We must flash back that freedom from negativity is the first step towards achieving success. Success blossoms in the stage of positivity.
My faith, devotion, and belief in the horizonless and eternal power of Bharat are growing day by day. Over the past 10 times, I’ve seen this capability of Bharat grow indeed more and have endured it firsthand.
Just as we utilised the fourth and fifth decades of the 20th century to conduct a new instigation to the freedom movement, we must lay the foundation for a’ Viksit Bharat’ in these 25 times of the 21st century. The freedom struggle was a time that called for great offerings. The present times call for great and sustained benefits from everyone.
Swami Vivekananda had said in 1897 that we must devote the coming 50 times solely for the nation. Exactly 50 times after this call, Bharat gained independence in 1947.
moment, we’ve had the same golden occasion. Let’s devote the coming 25 times solely for the nation. Our sweats will produce a strong foundation for the coming generations and the coming centuries, taking Bharat to new heights. Looking at the energy and enthusiasm of the country, I can say that the thing isn’t far down now. Let us take nippy way. let us come together and produce a Viksit Bharat
