Actress Rashmika Mandhana, who is currently busy with films, is playing the female lead in Salman Khan’s Sikandar.

On Thursday, the makers of the film announced Rashmika joining the cast. On X, they wrote, “Welcome to #Sikandar, the amazing @rashmika_mandanna & @beingsalmankhan! I can’t wait to unleash their on-screen magic on EID 2025! Sajith Nadiadwala’s #Sikander directed by Murugadoss will hit theaters on EID 2025.
Sajid Nadiadwala (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) is producing the film, which marks Salman’s re-teaming with Sajith after 2014’s Kick. The film is currently in pre-production and is expected to hit the theaters soon as well as on the 2025 holiday season.
Meanwhile, Rashmika, who was last seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the blockbuster Animal, will also play the role of Shrivalli in Pushpaa 2: Rule opposite Allu Arjun.
