Seniors can now receive darshan in a more tranquil and attentive manner thanks to special free darshan arrangements made by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Every day at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., the TTD has set aside two times for senior persons to receive free darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Pilgrims who are older than 65 are welcome to use this facility.
Seniors would be able to receive darshan from the Lord in less than 30 minutes thanks to the new setup. For the older citizens to have a hassle-free and tranquil darshan, all other lines would be stopped during the designated time frame.
To help the elderly get to the counter, the TTD has really provided a battery-operated car service that starts from the parking lot.
One must show identification with a photo at the S1 desk as evidence of age in order to be eligible for this darshan. In order to take part in this darshan, pilgrims must present their photo ID at the entry, which is located next to the Tirumala Nambi temple on Dakshin Mada Street.
The elderly do not have to go upstairs because the TTD has reserved seats for them. During the darshan, they would receive complimentary servings of hot milk, curd rice, and sambar. Two laddus for Rs. 20 and additional laddus for Rs. 25 each would be given to the older persons.
